The building consists of a larger central atrium of cylindrical shape surrounded by a rectangular building and two curved wings. The building contains all the necessary facilities of the so called General School of the University, schedule to become the core of a future Faculty of Sciences. The building is located in an autonomous ‘island’ of the university campus together with two other buildings and forms part of the characteristic skyline of the campus.
